I visit 2 Ron McD Houses and we attempt to watch a Chicago Cubs Game

Up at 8am this morning, ouch!!
I let the boys sleep in and allowed them the keys to the city!! (Not really hon or maybe I did) anyway the rules were that they needed to be back at the room by 4pm.
I went off to visit a couple of Houses with the Australian contingent and the boys went off looking for Skate information.
The first House we visited was Chicago Southside only built in 2007 and 22 rooms in size. Massive space inside and very well run.
This painting depicts the developments in Chicago and shows all of the Houses and some other key happenings in RMH Chicago
If you check out this quilt you will find a depiction of Australia bottom right and onne up, We have a hat and a kangaroo as a pet hahaha.
The second House was built in 2008 at a cost of $7million 16 rooms in size and known as the House in the woods. A very homely feel and a prairie look at the front.
They also run a Care mobile that visits schools in the local area doing Physicals for the children and basic immunisation. The kids have to pass the physical to be able to go to school.
I returned home to find that the boys indeed had returned at 4pm and were waiting for me. Well done boys!!
They had checked out a number of places, used the bus system and purchased 2 more skate boards, a cruiser and a regular. Pretty happy with their efforts.
They also carved up a bit of the Magnificent Mile!!
I had to go to a finance meeting then until 6pm when but i had been very fortunate to procure 3 passes to the Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field.
Excitedly we made our way, by subway,  a number of miles to the opportunity of a lifetime!!
In this shot we have purchased dinner Danburgers chips and Coke from the Cubs counter.
Unfortunately it rained and rained and whilst 1000s of us sat there with our ponchos on and the Organist played every rain based song he could think of nothing happened.
Then an hour later the game was postponed until Thursday at 1.30pm (not a real popular time) but our tickets will be able to be used at this game.
So we got the subway back, but it took us 2 goes because I had us going the wrong way until Matt realised that the stations were going north not south!! Thanks Matt.
The good news is that we got great value for our subway passes!!
As a write this the rain continues to fall, the boys have gone down to the gym and I am hoping for a slightly earlier night.
The conference starts tomorrow with rego's at 8am and the first session at 9am.
Thanks for following us.
Miss you beautiful lady and love to all xxx
